Grant Nelson, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine and shoulder surgeon at University Hospitals, dedicated to helping patients get back in the game — whether that’s on the field, on the court or simply enjoying an active life. As an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Dr. Nelson enjoys teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians while staying at the forefront of innovative care. He specializes in the treatment of acute and chronic conditions of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle, delivering tailored treatments that prioritize function, performance and long-term wellness.
